Stacey Klein
Southern California native Stacey Klein is the first to seek ways to make a difference. Since joining the marketing team at Logix Federal Credit Union, she continues to be a champion for community relations, looking for chances to connect with local leaders and sponsor worthwhile opportunities. She graduated from Leadership Burbank in 2020, and was a key supporter of the class project at BCR, which led her to volunteer at the board level. In addition to serving as the Chair of the Board for Bridging Community Resources, she serves on the boards of nonprofits Leadership Burbank and the Logix Community Stars Foundation. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from CSUN and received a Master of Arts degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Indeera V. Ganesan
Indeera V. Ganesan is a Director of Finance with Providence St Joseph. She has an MBA and MHA and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration with Franklin University, Ohio. She transitioned from Banking to Healthcare about 15 years ago to be part of the healthcare community in the hope of stimulating changes and to promote better health throughout communities. Her current research focuses on the Dementia care pathway, hoping to create awareness and understanding of the disease. She hopes to continue her services and take pride in contributing to the healthcare community, the poor, and the vulnerable.

Stephanie Bennett
Burbank resident Stephanie Bennett is a small business owner with a brain built for problem-solving. After working as a controller for more than 15 years, she decided to venture out on her own, opening a remote bookkeeping firm, Timely Totals. An active member of the Burbank Noon Rotary Club since 2018, she is passionate about contributing to her community, especially when it comes to helping foster children, combating homelessness and aiding food insecurity. She actively supports local nonprofits Home Again Los Angeles and Union Rescue Mission, and has volunteered for Project Angelfood, among others. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in Finance from CSUN. In her spare time, she plays board games, competes in puzzle-solving tournaments, and traveling with her husband.

Sherre Nakamura
Burbank native Sherre Nakamura has been a part of the BCR family for more than 15 years, when her brother became the organization's consumer. A Burbank High Bulldog, she graduated from CSUN with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and later received an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. She is the executive assistant to the Chief of the Burbank Police Department, where she's worked for nearly 18 years. She has also worked as a special events manager for Universal Studios Hollywood, Sony Pictures, the Gene Autry Museum and the Japanese American National Museum.

Carol Mazo
Carol Mazo has spent her life advocating for those in need of a friend in their corner. She has worked for 23 years with Kaiser Permanente's Home Health program as a Social Worker for individuals, primarily the elderly with medical needs. She began her career working in adult day care facilitating caregiver support groups. A loud and proud Trojan, Carol received her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a minor in Gerontology. Her hobby of long-distance running led to her involvement with the Skid Row Running Club, which uses the power of running to improve the lives of those at risk of addiction and homelessness. Additionally, she's been a lifelong volunteer within her religious and spiritual community. She has two daughters, including one entering graduate school with aspirations to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

John Echeto
Mr. Echeto and his family have been residents of Burbank for almost 25 years. He is married with two adult children. Currently retired, his previous employment includes working as a Budget and Cost Analyst at Southern California Edison, a Senior Financial Analyst at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and most recently as a Budget and Business Analyst/Research Administrator at the University of Southern California. Mr. Echeto earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at UCLA, with a focus on public administration of social programs. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Woodbury University, emphasizing controllership and finance.

Greg Piedlow
Greg joined BCR's Board of Directors in 2021 but has maintained a commitment to community service throughout his life. A member of the Boy Scouts of America program since he was seven years old, Greg was awarded the Eagle Scout Award in 1995, and later served as the President of the University of California at Irvine Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon, a national, Asian American Service Fraternity. Greg is currently a practicing attorney and a Certified Specialist in Workers Compensation, but has taken on numerous cases pro bono, participated in the Santa Ana Peer Court program, and given legal advice at homeless shelters through the Santa Ana Armory and My Friend's Place outreach programs. He graduated from Leadership Burbank in 2020, where he was introduced to Bridging Community Resources through the Leadership Burbank class project. Greg and his wife Christina have three children, ages nine, seven, and fourteen months. When he's not driving to soccer, dance, gymnastics, math, and piano practices, you can find him hiking, camping, and cheering on the University of Michigan Wolverines.

Bill Proffitt
With more than 30 years of experience in accounting for the Entertainment Industry, Bill Proffitt brings a keen eye to his work on BCR's Board of Directors. He received a B.S. in Mass Communications from Boston's Emerson College. His service to BCR's Board began while his son Shane was a client, and continued after he passed away in 2014 to honor his memory and serve the special needs community. Bill has also volunteered for seven years with American Cinematheque, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of film history and curation of its future. Having completed his 20th tax season, Bill enjoys his free time watching movies, attending concerts, and routing for his coveted Los Angeles Dodgers and the LA Kings.

Sheila Perez
Sheila and her family have been residents of Burbank since 1971, when her parents purchased their first home just a few blocks from the equestrian center. For nearly 20 years, she has been a pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She is currently an integral part of the Fetal Maternal Center, where she has worked as a Registered Nurse for the past 14 years, assisting pregnant mothers and their families whose unborn babies have abnormalities. Apart from the actual clinical care provided, she believes that the single most important role she fulfills is to advocate for those in a frightening and vulnerable time in their lives.

Steve Harris
For the last three years, Steve has served as the Board Chairperson and a board member for the previous eight years. He is the father of two Autistic sons; one has attended BCR since the family moved to Burbank in 1995. Both sons enjoy the monthly BCR/Community dances. Steve brings leadership and IT skills from serving as a US Army Signal Corps Officer for thirteen years. His extensive experience in budgeting and administrative expertise is from being a Senior Administrative Analyst for a Water District for ten years. His financial skills from being a Credit & Collection Manager for the last fourteen years in the fashion industry and a high tech live scan development company.
